No. As long as we have access to your cart we can get the job done. A hidden garage remote or garage code with house locked is an option. Or leaving your cart out with keys hidden.

If your charger is operating normally, replace your batteries once your range and or hill climb is less than satisfactory. If excessive acid is leaking from your batteries that can be another reason to replace batteries

As of 11/22: most carts that are in good condition with newer batteries that have a rear seat have a market value of 3-$4,000 or more. AC carts start at $8k or more. Check local market listings for a better value range.

Most carts that are in good condition are worth investing into vs. buying a newer cart. A Club Car DS that is a series cart (forward reverse lever vs switch) is often not effective to upgrade.

Can be done using a square (to adjust camber angles) and measuring tape (to adjust alignment when comparing distance between fronts of both front tires and rears of both front tires). However steering adjustments must also be made. A professional alignment is usually the best option.
